Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address entered to the outside provider that supplies results. We do not retain those queries on our servers. A direct message gives us only what its sender includes, and we use that information to answer.
Information Collected Automatically
Our host creates routine logs that may contain an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and times. Aggregate logs help maintain the service and show which resources are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How We Use Information
Collected data supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to San Mateo County offices, California agencies, courts, libraries, and outside search services. Their policies govern information submitted there. That includes sponsored results supplied by a third party.
Who Might See Your Data
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
California Privacy Choices
Rights may include access, correction, deletion, and limits on certain sharing under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. Because we hold little visitor information, a request will usually involve our contact mailbox and server logs. Submit it through the Contact page. Government records kept by San Mateo County or California agencies remain outside our control, so any correction or lawful restriction request must go to that custodian.
Policy Revisions
A revised policy will appear here. Use after its posting signifies acceptance of the new terms.
